Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Spiders

They're creepy, they're crawly and they're decadently delicious! These chocolate-peanut butter spiders make a sweet Halloween dessert — or hand them out to trick-or-treaters in festive little bags.

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate-dipped cookies
  • Peanut butter
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Cinnamon candy drops

Preparation:

  1. Using a butter knife or spatula, spread peanut butter over one side of a cookie.
  2. Create the spider's legs by sticking six pretzel sticks into the peanut butter (three legs on each side).
  3. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on one side of another cookie. Press the peanut-buttered sides of the two cookies together.
  4. Add a dab of peanut butter to two cinnamon candy drops. Place the candy drops near the top of the spider to create its eyes.
