Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Spiders

  • recipe photo
  • They're creepy, they're crawly and they're decadently delicious! These chocolate-peanut butter spiders make a sweet Halloween dessert – or hand them out to trick-or-treaters in festive little bags.

You've never seen spiders as sweet as these! They're a quick way to add instant festivity to any Halloween scene.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate-dipped cookies
  • Peanut butter
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Cinnamon candy drops

Preparation

  • Using a butter knife or spatula, spread peanut butter over one side of a cookie.

  • Create the spider's legs by sticking six pretzel sticks into the peanut butter (three legs on each side).

  • Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on one side of another cookie. Press the peanut-buttered sides of the two cookies together.

  • Add a dab of peanut butter to two cinnamon candy drops. Place the candy drops near the top of the spider to create its eyes.
