  • What goes better with a baking party than milk? Your guests will love these homemade variations – not only are they delicious, but they also coordinate perfectly with our pink-and-brown theme. The bright taste of fresh strawberries and a rich cocoa flavor bring these recipes to life.

For a perfect presentation, serve the homemade milk in glass or plastic bottles. Use striped straws in colors that contrast with the milk.

Homemade Strawberry Milk:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Cold milk

  • Reduce heat and allow to simmer until syrup thickens (about 10 minutes).

  • Pour syrup into a blender and blend on high until it's smooth. Allow syrup to cool in the refrigerator for several hours.

  • When you're ready to make the strawberry milk, add approximately 4 tablespoons of syrup to 8 ounces of ice-cold milk; stir until well combined. Serve immediately.
