Madeline Bed & Canopy

A canopy bed is every girl's dream. Ours is beautiful from every angle, from the intricate floral molding on the headboard to the slim and graceful posts. Two layers of white paint deliver a pristine finish, which is protected by a dual layer of lacquer. Our elegant white Solid Voile Canopy Sheers (sold separately) slip easily over the posts for a romantic finishing touch.

The bed is built with hardwood framing for strength and integrity.

Designed with sturdy hook-rail construction and a slat-roll foundation, the bed features inset paneling on the headboard and footboard, channel molding on the posts and a detailed trundle (sold separately). Use the trundle with our Lullaby Trundle Mattress (sold separately) to sleep overnight guests or for under-bed storage. For queen-size beds, the support beam needs to be positioned to the third setting so that ample room is allowed for the trundle to be installed. Assembly required.

All finishes in a color story coordinate with each other. For example, Rustic Sun Valley Honey, Sun Valley Honey, and Honey are all designed to coordinate and sit in the same room with each other.

All Sizes:
When bed is set at lower setting, the mattress top is about 10-12" from the ground without a box spring and 18-20" with a standard 6" box spring on all our individual beds (varies based on mattress height). For smaller children, you may consider not using a box spring with the mattress to keep the setup closer to the ground. All of our beds have a slat-roll foundation to support the mattress, so a box spring is not required.

Construction Techniques:
Frame and panel: Mortise and tenon joinery

*MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard): A man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers and resin binders. Suitable for painted furnishings and commonly used as a base for veneers, MDF features uniform consistency with no knots. While its density is about the same as a medium-weight hardwood, it is more structurally stable and will not warp or crack. MDF adheres well to finishes.

SAFETY NOTE:
Note: Youth/regular beds are for children 35” or taller, or children who are able to crawl out of their crib.

CARE:
Dust often with a soft, lint-free cloth. For best results, do not use a sponge or dishcloth. Slightly dampen cloth with water, as a damp cloth holds dust and avoids scratching. Dry thoroughly.

To protect the finish, do not apply household cleaners or abrasives. Waxing is not recommended on lacquered finishes.
