CHENILLE BRAIDED RUGS

COMPOSITION:
95% cotton, 5% polyester

Chenille is a fabric with soft silky yarns and a thick pile. French for caterpillar, the fabric has a soft, plush texture.

Machine braided and hand crafted.

Braided
A method of interlacing three or more yarns or cloth strips in such a way that they form a braid. Braids are then sewn together to form primarily round or oval shapes. A variance in pattern is inherent from rug to rug—no two are exactly alike.

Chenille Braided Rugs are reversible, be sure to reverse periodically for maximum use.

CARE:
Do not machine wash.
Vacuum your rug using a low-powered vacuum cleaner, preferably one without a beater brush.
Do not pull any loose threads. Use scissors to simply cut the ends.
Occasional rug cleaning from a professional rug cleaning company is recommended.
Do not dry clean.
Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage or fade your rug and harm its backing.
Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping it in cloth for protection. Never fold your rug or put in an airtight plastic bag for storage.
Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Rotate rug periodically to promote even wear. Use of a rug pad is recommended (sold separately).
