Why This Room Works

In this room shared by a brother and sister, we used fresh white and green as the base colors, and then defined each child's bed by layering in blues and pinks with personalized shams. Beds with built-in drawers and dressers that double as footboards create convenient storage, and the beds are topped with versatile chambray, gingham and stripes. Corkboards over the beds give each child a special display space.
