Why This Room Works

For boys who love sports, we made a red chalkboard wall using fine-grain sand, so they can keep score and celebrate their favorite jersey numbers. Using the brown, red and white palette of the quilts as our starting point, we chose printed sheets and personalized shams to make each bed feel unique. A bin of balls becomes part of the decor, with pennants and baseball art adding to the room's athletic theme.
