Why This Room Works

It's important to give kids plenty to read and a comfortable place to curl up. Here, we used low-profile shelves that store books face-forward so it's easy for kids to spot their favorites. Cushy personalized armchairs that are lightweight and easy to move become their favorite spot to sit. To complete the storybook theme, we hung colorful hardcover books from the ceiling with ribbon.
