Why This Room Works

Inspired by bright longboards, we painted broad vertical stripes on the wall and added oversized number decals to evoke the fun of team sports as well. A grid of multiframes makes a mural out of a blown-up photo. Below, stacks of open bins keep toys and gear organized, with the casual, active feel of a locker room. Big, soft beanbag chairs are great for lounging – or as handy accessories for games.
