Why This Room Works

Floor-to-ceiling windows gave this nursery a feeling of openness to the garden, so we invited the outdoors in. We painted a tree on the wall, and then fastened leaves, birds and wooden birdhouses to the branches to create a three-dimensional mural. Crib bedding that features floral prints adds to the breezy charm.
