Why This Room Works

This nursery has an airy atmosphere and sweet, inviting style. We carried through the colorful paisleys and flowers of the crib bedding on the curtains and wall decals. A stenciled pattern on the floor frames the rug with a vintage, cottage-y feel. We mounted keepsakes from the mother's childhood in shadowboxes for a display that she and her baby will love to look at and talk about.
