Why This Room Works

This room has tons of appeal for boys who can't get enough of sports. We painted the wall behind the headboard with a chalkboard finish for an ever-changing scoreboard. A rugby-striped rug, a net shelf over the bed and a baseball-bat lamp all echo the athletic theme of the sheeting and quilt. A miniature basketball hoop is the perfect finishing touch.
