Why This Room Works

Classic madras and sea creatures to make a bedroom that's full of appeal for a young ocean-lover. We painted octopus tentacles on a blue ground to create a large mural, and chose wall shelves mounted with rope. A shark theme is carried through the room in printed sheets, a plush shelf hung on the wall and a weathered wood plaque.
