  • Pasta comes in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Mix a few of them together, and you've got a quirky – yet delicious! – shower dish. To make it even more robot-themed, fill food-safe tin cans with individual servings of the pasta. Embellish the cans with printable patterned papers and a wooden chevron striped fork.

Not only is this pasta salad incredibly tasty and easy to make, it's absolutely perfect for a robot-inspired party!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tricolor spiral pasta (use the orange and white pasta only)
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup pasta wheels
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 bottle of your favorite Italian vinaigrette

Preparation

  • Cook each of the pastas according to package directions, leaving slightly al dente so that pasta pieces retain their shape. Drain and let cool.

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pastas, carrots, olives, and dressing. Toss gently. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Add more dressing, salt, and pepper to taste before serving.
