Pretzel Bones

  • recipe photo
  • Make no bones about it: these sweet pretzel treats are a delightfully spooky way to get excited about the season! Serve as a party snack or place them in festive bags so guests can take them to go.

Easy to make (and fun to eat!), these decorative pretzel bones are a spooky-sweet addition to your Halloween party

Ingredients

  • Pretzel sticks
  • Small marshmallows
  • White baking chocolate
  • Waxed paper

Preparation

  • Pierce one marshmallow on each side of each pretzel stick. Pinch the marshmallows to make them look like bone sockets.

  • Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low, even heat until smooth. Be careful not to get any water in the chocolate.

  • Using a tong, dip the "bones" into the chocolate; let excess chocolate drip off. Place on waxed paper. Place bones in the refrigerator until the chocolate is cool and hard.
